Choosing A Material
Choose your material based on the weather your cover will face and where it will be used, whether that is equipment, furniture or something in storage.
Common Questions
Are they easy to clean?
Yes. Vinyl has a slick surface that is simple to wipe clean. Canvas-style fabrics trap mold and stains that are hard to remove.
How strong are the covers?
18 oz. vinyl is a very strong, long-lasting material. It is the same type of material used on semi-trailers to cover their cargo, and the abuse it takes on the highway is far more than most covers will ever see.
Which vinyl do most customers pick?
The two vinyls look the same, but most customers choose the thicker 18 oz. vinyl for its extra strength in bad weather.
My cover will be used indoors. Which material is best?
600D fabric is ideal indoors, or outdoors if the cover is mostly in the shade and away from harsh conditions.
3 Easy Steps To Ordering

Have A Complex Item To Cover?
Most items our customers cover are basic shapes such as cubes, cylinders and triangles. For a more complex item, take a picture, mark it up in any program that lets you draw on a photo, and email it to ALCO. A hand sketch with dimensions works too.
Simple or complex, you can send us your details through our online quote form.

Our Covers Are Water-Resistant
Our high-grade vinyl stops pooled water from soaking through the cover. We can keep water from getting in through the top, but we cannot guarantee that moisture won't seep in from under the cover.
Air Vents
Vents let air flow underneath the cover. They help reduce condensation and trapped moisture, especially in humid weather or when the cover stays on for long periods.
Vinyl Vs. Fabric Covers In The Rain
For items that face real weather, pick ALCO's high-grade vinyl. Choose 600D fabric for indoor use or sheltered spots.
Tie-Downs And Splits
Depending on the type of cover you are buying, your form may offer a tie-down or split option. Tie-downs keep your cover in place in the wind. Splits, made with Velcro or a zipper, make it easier to put the cover on, which is ideal when covering very tall items. All tie-downs and splits are made from robust materials.
