Measure the Widest Points
Measure the full length and width at the widest points. This includes measuring the handlebars, pedals, and the console.
Measure the Height
Start measuring from the floor up to the highest point of the machine, usually the top of the console or the handlebars.

Should I cover my treadmill?
Yes, it's recommended that you cover your treadmill if it's located in a garage, on a patio, or in an idle room. Using a cover on it will prevent dust from entering the belt and motor area, block sun that can make the console fade, and reduce exposure to moisture. Before you cover your treadmill, make sure it's unplugged.
Is it safe to put a treadmill outside?
Most home treadmills are designed for indoor use. Therefore, we recommend that you refer to the manufacturer's manual first before you put your treadmill outside. If you keep it on a covered patio, use a dry, level surface and unplug it when it's not in use. It will be protected from rain, sun, and humidity when you cover it with waterproof vinyl.
Can I keep a treadmill in an unheated garage?
Many people keep a treadmill in an unheated garage. We recommend that you check the temperature range stated in your manual because cold can make the belt stiff. Plus, ensure you warm up the treadmill before you run on it. Dust and moisture from the garage are locked out of the machine when you use a cover.
Can an exercise bike be kept outside?
No, you should only keep an exercise bike outside under a roof using a waterproof cover. This is because rain and sun can rust the frame, crack the seat, and damage the console. Using a 12 oz vinyl customized cover for your bike keeps it dry and secure in windy weather.

Yes, it's okay to keep a Peloton in the garage as long as the garage temperature range is within the temperature range stated in your bike's manual and the bike is covered.
