Mounting Styles

• Static | Grommets - The most economical for static mounting.
• Static | Turn Buttons - Great for static mounting that allows for frequent removal.
• Side-To-Side | Roller Track - Allows for side-to-side movement for complete access.
• Roll Up | Pull Cord - Pull down on the cord to roll up the shade from the bottom.
• Roll Up | Hand Crank - Rotate a rod in a circular motion to roll up the shade from the top.

 

 

 

Common Layouts

ALCO can supply just about any layout you can think of. Below are some common layouts. They can be single sided, double-sided, triple sided, four-sided or multiple straights to create complete enclosures. How long does it take to ship?

• It depends on the style of custom patio curtains that you choose. Generally, retractable curtains are 10 to 15 work days to ship from when you order them.

How durable is the curtain?

• Curtain lifespan depends upon exposure to the elements. Our curtains have over 7 years of uninterrupted service without alteration or significantly degrade of its unique flexibility.

How do you compare to retail curtains?

• We get asked this a lot. To be frank you get what you pay for. We offer custom made commercial vinyl curtains that are tailored to your exact sizes. Off the shelf retail curtains can work for certain applications, but if you want a tailored solution that has a perfect fit then you are at the right place.

Are curtains hard to clean?

• No they are very easy to clean. In fact the slick surface of the Vinyl makes them very resilient to stains. All they require is a light cleaning a couple of times a year. Use dawn dish-washing soap or vinyl cleaner.

Are curtains easy to install by oneself or do I need to have an expert install it for me?

• Basically, curtains are designed for anyone to be able to install (DIY's), however, the aid of contractors or handymen makes the job easier. Note that we have national installers that can visit you to discuss your options, take measurements, purchase the custom curtains from ALCO and install them. Can this curtain hold up in coastal locations?

• Definitely. Our curtains are made up of marine grade, deterioration resistant, and UV stabilized for waterfront uses.

Does the curtains function in cold climates?

• It Does. Note that at -20°F, curtains should not be raised, lowered or folded as they can cold crack in those temperatures.
